This lampshade is woven by artisan families from Michoacán who work with fibers such as bulrush and chuspata, aquatic plants obtained from the region's lakes. The bulrush is harvested, sun-dried, and moistened before weaving to regain flexibility. Each piece is carefully handcrafted on a metal frame, creating a sturdy, lightweight lampshade with an artisanal texture.
